Jay was born and raised in Clintonville and graduated from Clintonville High School in 1991. He attended UW-Stevens Point and Milwaukee Area Technical College where he earned an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science in 1994. After completing his degree he completed his apprenticeship with Konrad-Behlman, He became a fully licensed funeral director in March of 1995 and has been with the funeral home since. In May 2011 he became a partner in the business with the retirement of Gary Konrad.

He is married to Kristi Kearn Schultz and together they have two children Ella and Charles. He and his family live in the Town of Clayton on a hobby farm where they have several types of animals. He is a former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran church where he served as an usher and on the board of Elders. He and his family are currrently members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. He has served as treasurer of Walleyes for Tomorrow-Oshkosh Chapter and is a member of the Oshkosh YMCA. Professionally he is a member of National Funeral Directors Association, Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association.

In his free time he enjoys fishing, deer hunting, turkey hunting, and watching Badger football and basketball.

Mark grew up in the Wausau area and after high school attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. 

Mark is an integral part of the Konrad-Behlman staff since 1994 where he is involved with all aspects of pre-need planning, assists the current Funeral Directors at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes with advanced funeral planning and has a major role in the day to day operations of the funeral home and became a partner in January of 2022. 

Mark is married to Kimberley and has two daughters, Taylor and Kaitlyn.  In limited free time Mark loves spending time with family and friends, coaches and mentors area youth in bowling and currently serves as volunteer President of the Tri County USBC - East Central Wisconsin.

Matthew "Matt" Thomas Licensed Funeral Director MattThomas@konrad-behlman.com

Matthew was born and raised in Oshkosh. After graduation from Oshkosh Lourdes High School in 2012 Matt moved to Milwaukee to continue his education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He began his apprenticeship at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes in the summer of 2014, graduated from MATC in the spring of 2015 and became a licensed funeral director in fall of 2015.

Matt and his wife Megan are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Lilahann, and their dog, Theo. He is a member of the St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Parish in Oshkosh. Matt enjoys working out and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Resurgence MMA in Appleton where he currently holds a purple belt.

Karisa was born and raised in Oshkosh. After graduating from Oshkosh North High School in 2014 she attended Fox Valley Technical College. She began her apprenticeship through Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes in January of 2016. Karisa completed her Mortuary Science degree through Des Moines Area Community College and became licensed in 2019.

Karisa is a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Oshkosh. In her spare time, she enjoys being a "Big", mentoring for Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Wisconsin. She loves spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, cooking and baking, creating flower arrangements, shopping, riding her Harley, and working out.

Katie was born and raised in Oshkosh. After graduating from Winnebago Lutheran Academy, she graduated from Advanced College of Cosmetology, licensed cosmetologist and Fox Valley Technical College, criminal justice. Katie started as an apprentice in 2017, completed the mortuary science program through Des Moines Area Community College in 2018 and became a licensed director in 2019.

 

In her spare time she enjoys gardening, canning, art, camping at Wisconsin State Parks, kayaking, and raising monarch butterflies. Most of all, she loves spending time with her children: Landon, Jason, and Leah.
